Outschool has been a solid success for us since we started using it in 2019. We've met so many talented teachers through this platform and it's great for tutoring in specific subjects such as math, as well as pursuing special interests such as baking. Outschool has increased my respect for teachers (and I already esteemed them pretty highly!). Seeing what they do to teach my kids is truly heartwarming. We've never had a bad Outschool teacher!
We have spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on Outschool over the past four years learning on the platform. Teachers we love have become part of the weekly rhythm of our homeschool time and have helped us achieve reading, writing, math, and science skills with minimal prep on our part. One of our favorite classes was a year long pod of first graders all learning together.
The best part is that when our skills or interests change, we can find new classes and teachers to challenge us. We're never locked into a decision if the class isn't a good fit or if our schedule changes. We even have the option to take self-paced classes where we can bring our materials offline along with us. I never pictured homeschooling would look this way, but now that it does, I can't imagine what we would do without it!

Several years ago, a good friend mentioned Outschool to me. I had no idea what Outschool was but after speaking with my friend I was intrigued. I went home, went to my computer, and looked up Outschool; which changed our family's homeschool path. Not only was I impressed with the amount, variety, and quality of classes being offered but I was also amazed at the flexibility of the classes. My kiddos have all had wonderful and positive experiences. The classes my kids have taken have included classes such as: voice lessons, stock market, math, art, creative writing, gaming club, speech classes and so much more! This has been the best thing to happen to us in our homeschool journey and to this day I still thank my friend for mentioning it.
My kids have taken classes on ALL KINDS of platforms. Some of are very niche specific. My 7 year old daughter wanted to take her first online class and I loved that there was so much variety to choose from. She came out of her first art class "glowing" and telling me it was so much fun. The class was so hands on and very engaging. She is excited to take her next class and bring a piece of art work to show in class. It was a great learner experience for a young student...very thankful!
Outschool is a phenomenal educational platform. My kids (14, 12, 9 and 7) enjoy their classes so much. We’ve had so many successes using Outschool and having been using it since 2018. Outschool is an absolute life saver for my sanity and my three home educated children's education. My youngest son is ASD and ADHD and struggles in group classes. There are so many 1-2-1 classes that are affordable that he's spoilt for choice now. My other children have been able to find classes to supplement their education in the areas where I struggle and thrive.
I've found it really easy to use and there are some really great teachers on there who will go above and beyond for my children.

We love using out school! I have four kids, and we live in a more rule area. Our school allows me to diversify, but my kids are learning based on their own interests and passion. We have used Outschool for a variety of classes, including instruments, art, coding, and more for over two years now. I loved it with a membership. I can use credits across all of my Kids accounts for ongoing classes or self-paced classes. We’re big fans about school over here and really think it is such a great resource!

My daughter has been using Outschool for a few years now. We first started it right around the time Covid hit and the world turned to online everything. It has been an incredible resource to add to our schedule and so easy to use. We’ve even joined classes during vacations. Outschool was a life saver during Covid, but we keep coming back for more because it has so much to offer. The academic classes have been helpful when we’ve struggled in school and the enrichment classes are a just right fit for whatever my daughter is into at the moment. She’s taken classes about Barbie, cooking, Roblox, drawing and more. As the mom of an only child, Outschool has been a great way for her to interact with peers. She’s enjoyed meeting people from around the world. Now that she’s a teen there are still classes that she can find to meet her learning and social needs. Outschool really is a gift that keeps on giving.

We’ve been using Outschool for a few years now, and honestly, it’s made such a big difference in our homeschool. I love that my kids can take live classes on pretty much anything they’re interested in - we've done everything from bug clubs to dolphin training to d&d style writing classes. The teachers are great, the classes are flexible, and it’s given my kids opportunities to learn from people who are really passionate about what they teach. I truly can't recommend it enough!
We have been using Outschool since 2020/2021. We have used it for so many reasons. We did reading classes when my girl struggled, lots of fun or social classes, art classes, niche classes. She’s in a 3D design class right now that is top notch. It’s such a great resource for homeschoolers who want to add some diversity to their kiddo’s education.

My kids tried different live Outschool classes along with a self-paced course. As a parent of a big family, I love the convenience of scheduling the classes, also the fact that it's easy to cancel if something doesn't work for us. There's no pressure to stay in a class. Teachers are friendly and groups are small. Sometimes we could get one-on-one time with a teacher for the same price which is awesome. If the class requires additional materials, they're usually something you can easily find at home. I don't recall a time that I would be stressed from the need of going to buy something specific for the activity. That's what happened with me when we used another learning system though.

We have been avid Outschool users since 2020. I have 3 kids of varying ages, interested and needs. My oldest is neurodiverse and he used Outschool for SAT prep, social skills classes, writing, and even fun escape rooms. My middle child loves art and takes a weekly drawing class. She's been doing that for 2 years and has really improved not only her drawing skills, but a massive impact on her self esteem. My youngest loves games and was part of a virtual board game group. She also just got audition prep for her latest theater production. Outschool is always my first stop for any educational supports, extracurriculars, or special interests. I can always find a class and we have had wonderful experiences. Best of all, I don't have to drive all day and my kids get more time to enjoy life instead of sitting in the car!!
My child and I really enjoy Outschool! The choices are endless, everything from hobbies to core academics. The platform is easy to use for myself as a parent and for my 7 year old as well. I also appreciate the recap sent to the parent after the class because it allows for me to follow up with my child to continue the learning and fun outside the class.

One of my kids craves knowledge. He loves reading books, but he also really benefits from the individualized attention he gets in Outschool classes. It’s easy for me to find small class sizes — many of his classes are just him or have only three other kids. (This is by choice; one of my other kids actually prefers the larger group classes, which are also available.)
I prefer Outschool over other live class options for a few reasons:

Easy to pause or stop classes — if we’re experiencing burnout or our in-person schedule changes, we can adjust without hassle.
Overall, Outschool gives us both flexibility and personalization, which makes homeschooling feel much more manageable. Outschool makes learning fun and engaging for my kids. One of my still young kids sets alarms - not to go anywhere - but for his outschool classes - in case I forget - he never wants to miss them.

Outschool has been a great resource for our family. Our children are in public school, where there isn't a lot of time for all of the electives they want to try. With Outschool, they can pursue their own interests. Sometimes they take classes on weekends and sometimes on school breaks, but there is always something fun!
